The challenge
Users needed real-time visibility of their own metabolic health, not retrospective reports — which meant reliable communication with a hardware transmitter over Bluetooth.
Raw sensor data on its own is not guidance. The product had to translate readings into decisions about nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.
Sign-up and subscription had to be frictionless enough that users reach the product's value quickly.
The approach
